This would be the 2nd time i am flaming a movie in 2 weeks. But SERIOUSLY, i daresay no one will freaking contest with me that PARRY HOTTER sucks. It was CHOPPY, and just way too choppy for anyone to make any sense of it. They assumed that EVERYONE read the book and that EVERYONE knew what was going on, so much information was removed from the book(i dont blame them) but the whatever information left is totally too LITTLE to make what what the movie was about. HONEST!
I bet people were just blur and lost as the movie rushed through it, man, i didnt know whats going on, thankfully i read the book.
Another thing is, the CASTING of the talents was just WRONG. CHO was SUPPOSED to be “CHIO” and not hideous. The book showed that she was supposed to be HOT and a girl that everyone wanted to be with but it turned out as if only HARRY wanted to be with her. Sheesh.
And fortunately or UNFORTUNATELY, Luna Lovegood played by Evanna Lynch is SO SO SO MOE! OMG. SHE IS JUST WAYYYY TO CUTE AND …. just a bit WRONG for her role. Luna is supposed to be weird, but she is just CUTE. Have a look at her!
ISNT SHE LOVELY? OMG! Thinking about what’s going to happen with Ginny and Harry on the next movie, i daresay the actress for Ginny is not really quite ready to have chemistry with Harry. But i feel that the actress for Luna, is so much fitting for GINNY’S role. =/

Anyway, besides that, i managed to have a get together with my secondary school friends again. Weeee~ missed them lots! Huggies* Huggies* I THINK i cut down on my vulgarities, by abit. =/ But…… STILL MISS THEM LOTS~!

How to rate ahhhh…..?
Got a few aspects to look out for:
1) STORYLINE
2) Fluency
3) Visual
Well, thats what i look out for, HP5’s storyline is crappy. Even if you dont read the book and just watching for the first time without any prior knowledge of the whole story, i dont think you can understand the movie very well because it’s too CHOPPY and NOT FAST-PACED. There’s too much cuts in between then you can get lost.
So, it’s NOT NICE!
But i give them the credit for the VISUAL bahh. The effects are good and makes “wizard fighting” interesting. I always wondered how they fight by just throwing 1 spell by 1 spell at each other.
I thought the storyline is the same as the book? Same for transformers, same as the original story.
The prob is the fluency, the cuts. It sucks. Ahah, the wizard fighting was not bad, but kind of short. Most of the time = harry and gang running away from death-eaters.
Yeah, it’s the CUTS that make it look bad….. But i think it’s quite impossible to show everything in 2-3hrs. OOTP is the longest book right…..?
I’m not pleased 2 say this but u r sooo wrong in saying that katie leung (chow) is hideous, I mean she is soo pretty and even if she wasnt wouldnt u prefer a normal not amazing looking girl getting an equal chance 2 b in a film.

Maybe i was alittle to harsh on the word “hideous” but guess our expectation of Cho was a lot higher no thanks to the hype Rowling ’s description of her in the book. =/
wow. someone agrees with me, cho should have been more pretty. I mean, Katie’s not hideous, but she’s fairly average if you know what i mean. After the fourth movie came out EVERYONE in my class who has seen it were like “cho was a dissapointment.”
Oh and I haven’t seen the fifth movie, but it sounds bad. I never really liked the book (worst of the HP series) so I don’t think I’ll enjoy the movie. Alot of characters were killed in the movies…starting from P. of azkaban.
